About the service

Riddco provides efficient trenching and plowing services for underground cable, conduit, and infrastructure installation. Our experienced crews and specialized equipment allow us to handle projects of all sizes, from small runs to large-scale infrastructure builds across Central Washington.

What sets our trenching apart:

  • Cable and conduit installation
  • Efficient large-scale trenching
  • Experienced operators
  • Versatile equipment for varied terrain

Common applications

  • Long-run fiber optic cable installations across open ground
  • Conduit installation for power distribution and service laterals
  • Irrigation and communication line placement across agricultural and municipal sites
  • Rural utility runs where directional drilling is unnecessary or less cost-effective
  • Direct-bury cable installations for fiber and telecom backhaul

How trenching and plowing works

Trenching uses ride-on or walk-behind trenchers to cut a precise channel for cable or conduit, followed by placement and backfill. Cable plowing pulls product directly into the ground with minimal surface disturbance, ideal for long runs across open terrain. Riddco selects the right method based on terrain, soil conditions, and product type.

Equipment and specifications

  • Ride-on trenchers for large-scale infrastructure runs
  • Cable plows for efficient long-distance direct-bury installations
  • Versatile equipment configured for varied terrain across Central Washington
  • Experienced operators who match method to site conditions
