Service Area
Tri-Cities

Riddco provides underground utility construction across the Tri-Cities, serving Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, and surrounding Benton and Franklin Counties. Our directional drilling crews and Vactor trucks work Tri-Cities job sites regularly, supporting active telecom and power builds.
Underground utility work in the Tri-Cities
The Tri-Cities is a regular route for our crews. From fiber conduit for telecom contractors to civil support for Pacific Power and Benton REA, Riddco handles the underground work Tri-Cities builds depend on. We bring the full fleet, including rock drilling capability, and decades of experience with the partners who build and maintain this region's infrastructure.
Out-of-town contractors often stumble here because Tri-Cities projects can involve sensitive infrastructure, tight schedules, and utility coordination across multiple jurisdictions. Riddco's long-standing relationships and deep regional knowledge make us the crew that shows up ready.
Why Riddco in the Tri-Cities
- Active, ongoing contracts with Benton REA and Pacific Power in the region
- Full equipment fleet regularly routed to the Tri-Cities, not an occasional service
- Experience with complex utility work near sensitive infrastructure
- Emergency vacuum excavation available when schedules can't wait
Services available in the Tri-Cities
Directional drilling with rock drilling capability
Precision underground boring for telecom, fiber, and power infrastructure. Our directional drilling crews handle everything from small-bore fiber installs to large-diameter utility crossings while keeping surface disruption to a minimum. Rock drilling equipment lets us break through the hard-ground conditions that stop standard rigs.
Equipment deployed: Ditch Witch JT2020 (directional drill), Ditch Witch AT40 (rock drill), and Ditch Witch JT60 All Terrain (rock drill). Our full drilling fleet is regularly routed to Tri-Cities job sites.
Hydro excavation with two Vactor trucks
Safe, non-destructive excavation for utility locating, potholing, and emergency response. Hydro excavation exposes live power, fiber, and gas infrastructure without the strike risk that comes with mechanical digging. Our two-truck vac fleet delivers response capacity for back-to-back utility exposures, multi-day potholing runs, and emergency calls across the Tri-Cities.
Equipment deployed: International Vactor 2100 and Freightliner Vactor 2100.
Trenching and plowing for long-run cable and conduit
Trenching and cable plowing for underground infrastructure runs across open terrain. Ride-on trenchers cut precise channels for cable and conduit; cable plows pull product directly into the ground for long-run direct-bury work. Our trenching equipment is routed to Tri-Cities projects for fiber and power work across Benton and Franklin Counties.
Aerial and overhead civil support
Civil groundwork for overhead power and telecom infrastructure. Our crews dig pole holes, set poles to grade, and install anchors to utility partner specifications. The electrical or telecom crew that follows handles the connections. Our aerial civil crews support overhead utility work for Pacific Power, Benton REA, and telecom partners across the Tri-Cities.
